Happy New Year and welcome to 2026!

There are times in life where the cycle your in gets absolutely brought to your attention. The times where some people realize they’ve been in survival mode a really long time.

So much in fact that they don’t know how to get out of it. But it becomes clear that they have to. With that being said this popped up on facebook and for the life of it all I cannot remember who posted it, or I would tag them. But I saved it because it spoke to me and I’d like to share. 🫂🦋💞

This year I choose peace over chaos.

I choose consistency over intensity.

I choose myself without guilt, my children without fear, and love without losing myself.

I will no longer shrink to keep others comfortable.

I will no longer explain my worth to someone committed to misunderstanding it.

I will protect my nervous system, my heart, and my home.

I will model self-respect for my children.

I will teach them that love is kind, calm, patient, and safe — not confusing, not painful, not earned through suffering.

I allow myself to receive healthy love.

I allow myself to be supported.

I allow myself to be chosen without proving I’m worthy of it.
