One of the most monumental things for me about the Los Angeles area is the ability to be at the most beautiful beaches and still be near farmland and mountains. Our trips to the mountains are some of my favorite times! This was in the San Gabriel mountains. The area has some of the beat hiking and most amazing views. The wildlife and plant life are remarkable.

One of my favorite things about California is the abundance of wildlife. We have been blessed to experience so many of them so far! Today my Mama Bear heart is remembering the beautiful sea otters we encountered in Morro Bay. They have a nursery there for the moms and babies in the wild. You can spot them as you walk the sidewalks and docks splashing, swimming and eating joyfully! I have never seen a baby otter even among my times in Florida. It was a complete surprise to us

South Texas beaches truly hold beauty, both in the place and the people you find there. There are so many beautiful spots that you can find if you search. Having a Jeep allows for a bit more exploration options than my truck although bringing the truck is much better for a good fishing or BBQ day. Sunsets and Sunrises are two of my absolute favorite things to experience as well as photograph. There is so much to feel and interpret from them. They can leave you with a feeling of revival, renewal, calmness and peace, inspiration and more. But I will say that no matter if it’s a sunset or sunrise, if I am taking the time to spend with it, then I am feeling something positive no matter what. Even if it’s simply comfort. Sometimes the things around us are absolutely meant to help us along our journey even when they are shown to us so subtly.
