Steps

Sometimes the things around us are absolutely meant to help us along our journey even when they are shown to us so subtly. Sometimes the universe will yell and forcefully show you while other times its signs are more subtle and softer. If you keep your heart open, slow your mind and allow the signs to be seen, they are absolutely there. This can be tricky with all that life has going on for so many of us.

My Momma often reminds me to slow down and listen. Listen to God she will say, because he always has answers.

During an evening walk this staircase with a magnificent full moon rise spoke to me deeply. It reminded me that the first step in change is often the hardest to achieve, but there is always a path forward and the universe will always provide. You just have to have faith, look for the signs and make the forward motion. Even if it’s one baby step at a time.
