Reminding myself it’s ok to need recovery time.

Some days you just simply have to accept that you do not feel well. You are going to be slower, you are going to be sluggish and no matter what you do you are going to feel unwell. And that has to be ok in the moment. It doesn’t mean you surrender and lay down and pass on or that you accept it as your daily vibration for all time. It simply means looking at yourself and telling your body… “I see you, I hear you, I feel you, I know you need rest, I honor you, I will nourish you through this and it is ok to rest for this time to recover. And recover we will, I love you.”

I struggle with this as a very active and adventurous person. But at times it is so important to remember this and to practice it. Be kind and let yourself heal.
